We are seeking a creative, driven, and highly motivated Regional Sales Manager (Eastern Region) to join our team!

Summary: The Regional Sales Manager is the primary interface between Ingersoll and the customers located in the Eastern Region and is responsible for Ingersoll’s awareness of the capital investment programs of its customers/prospects, which match Ingersoll’s market strategy within the manager’s assigned territory or assortment of Key Accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting new customers and opportunities within our existing customers.
  • Finding new customers and programs to engage and succeed with
  • Recommend sales strategy to the VP | Director of Sales.
  • Understand and promote the company’s solution.
  • Report if Ingersoll’s solution matches customer needs.
  • Manage the company’s relationship with the customer.
  • Provide data about the customer/markets, competition, regarding Ingersoll’s products compared to the competition, and Ingersoll’s performance.
  • Understand and identify customers’ plant operating issues.
  • Required to register and report current information in Camozzi CRM.
  • Sell both Ingersoll and Innse-Beradi products and solutions

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Have strong prospecting skills
  • Bring a strong existing to regional customers and industry base
  • Direct business-to-business sales experience; machine tools related
  • Experience selling custom-made Large Capital Machines
  • Be self-disciplined and able to self-manage with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Assist in developing new marketing strategies.
  • Willing to travel for periods of time up to 70% of the time

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering preferred. In the absence of a bachelor’s degree, seven or more years of experience in sales of industrial products.
